Keele Symphonia is run completely by students and plays a variety of music styles. We have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome no matter what instrument or standard!

Keele Symphonia is the only ensemble at Keele which welcomes any instrument and any standard. Saxophones in an orchestra you say? Absolutely!

We aim to have a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where everyone is welcome no matter what instrument or standard. We perform a number of concerts over the academic year (Winter, Spring, and Summer) with a focus on movie themes and video game soundtracks as well as some pop music and classical pieces.

We also welcome and encourage students to participate in conducting, composing, and arranging music for the orchestra - even if you've never done it before!

Rehearsals are on Monday evenings from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in Barnes Bar, starting on Monday 25th September 2023.

Look forward to seeing you there!
